We know—and have always known—how important academic achievements are for the development of technology. That is why we have, since our founding in 1987 by the Jozef Stefan Institute, been intimately involved with the research and development sphere – initially by transferring the Institute’s academic accomplishments into the industry and now as leaders and contributors of many research projects ourselves. The inquisitive academic spirit is still very much present today. Many of our best engineers also conduct research and development work with national and international partners on projects funded by either ourselves, customers, or co-financed by national and European funds, like Horizon 2020, NGEU, and Horizon Europe.
